Show and Tell - Detailed Guidelines

General Description:

  • Clearly describe the general topic and context of the presented material.

  • Outline the purpose of the demonstration and the specific problem it addresses.

  • For products or proofs of concept, explain their necessity, impact, and potential usage.

  • Mention the relation to the conference theme, if applicable.

Theoretical Background:

  • Formulate the problem and outline the key objectives.

  • Summarize the mathematical and algorithmic steps leading to the demonstration or implementation.

  • If applicable, refer to any previous solutions or approaches related to the problem.

  • Provide references to the relevant literature on the topic.

Detailed Workflow:

  • Include a clear block diagram that elucidates the structure of the demonstration.

  • Specify implementation details, including hardware, software, memory consumption, or other tools, where relevant.

Photos/Images/Media:

  • It is encouraged to include photos or images in the paper that showcase the operation of the presented implementation.

  • The accompanying 3-minute video should be a clear, concise, and well-illustrated description of the demonstration.

Submission:

  • The deadline for submission is 2 April 2025. 23:59, Anywhere on Earth. No updates will be accepted after this date.

  • Submissions must consist of a paper, no more than two pages in length (including references), in Interspeech 2025 format.

  • Authors are strongly encouraged to use the Interspeech paper kit, but the submission does not need to be blind. Authors can use the camera ready version in the paper kit.

  • Authors must also submit a 3-minute video of the demonstration as supplementary material.

    • Note: Authors must first complete their submission with the required two-page paper. After submission, they must return to the Author Console to upload the video as supplementary material. Failure to upload a video will result in desk rejection.

  • Submissions are to be done via the CMT system. If you already have a CMT account, you can login with your existing credentials. If you do not have a CMT account, you will need to create one.
